The best chai in the locality can be found here, along with the local gossip. The establishment is run by a local elder who is really very friendly and accomodating. Also offers a good lunch at a budget.Snacks are available in the evening, served hot.

It was a night, not too late, maybe around 9:30 PM. I was famished after a long day of duty and was on my way back home. My stomach was growling like a bear, and I thought of having something to eat before going home. That’s when I found this cafe that was still open. I rushed in like a kid in a candy store. The cafe had both indoor and outdoor seating, and people were sitting outside enjoying their food. I went in and saw the owner cleaning utensils. I asked him if they had anything light to eat. He stopped all his work, washed his hands, and welcomed me with all his heart. He even gave me extra Mirchi and Bhaji and said, “Ghe re bare pot bharun kha ani Kide zay zalyar sang” (Eat to your heart’s content and let me know if you need anything else). He also offered me tea, but I had already had enough tea during my duty to fill the Boston Harbor. Coming to the main point, it was late so the Pav wasn’t fresh and hot, but the Vada was tasty and not too oily. Even the Mirchi and Bhaji that I ordered were yummy, like homemade and crunchy. Though it’s a small cafe, they have many things like juice, soft drinks, Mysore Pak, Laddu, packet chips, and much more. The seats are wooden blue-colored bench style and finely kept. They also have outside seating under the night sky. Everything seems to be kept outside but yet neatly kept. It’s just too much stuff in a small area. The owner was a very jolly person and went back to his work after serving me. People outside finished their food, paid him, and he said “Yess thank you” to all of them with a smile that could light up the room. All people have so much stress, minor and major, just be like this owner!! And be happy. All the tiredness of my duty vanished like a puff of smoke. I paid him and he said “Yess thank you” as usual while doing his chores. I replied with a thank you and went on with the new learning to be happy no matter what…
